I think though I, with others, am entitled to say how proud I was of that performance today. The young squad CAME OF AGE.

Regarding Will Butt's four tries, it equaled the Club record for the number scored in a single league game, with Will joining Andy Smallwood from 1997/98 & James Stokes 2019/20.

Onwards to Saracens with circa 1,400 being allowed in to the BPA

Thanks for reminding me of those horrors mate - I had to leave the pre-Christmas match against Scottish early to catch a flight and I remember being absolutely soaked that day. The Leeds match is still my ultimate horror as Jersey were "Nilled" that day and early in the second half against Cov yesterday I was very much relieved when they took three points on offer to get the Nil off the board. The players who miss-fired yesterday were largely the same as the team who played so well against Amps the week before and they are proud lads who will bounce back. Cov were excellent and the outside centre will never get an easier bonus point and should thank his inside midfield and back row who were the real stars on the day. 

Bedfords rolling maul against Ealing was very well executed and scored by the 7 who celebrated by rocking the ball in his arms ! . Apparently he had recently become a father.

So a very big thank-you to Tim Pryor and Harry Cochrane for providing such a major contribution to yesterday's game with their enthusiasm and balance in their commentary yesterday. Their approach added an awful lot to what was (as a Coventry supporter) a pretty joyous day in this largely meaningless season, and has been echoed by the comments here on Rolling Maul.

I should add that I did not expect the result, and wasn't even confident at half time. I'm not expecting anything next week, but it will be wonderful to have a crowd, even if only 1/3 of what normally would have been, and who knows, bigger surprises have happened. 

Do you mean the Ealing player no arms shoulder on Worley (winger), when it was shown as a highlight in the game? Ealing then went on to score from that passage of play.

I think it was an in game yellow card but nothing else like an after game sanction.
