Any company running a team under that brand would presumably have had to pay the administrator for the IP, but would not have any connection with the debt.

It would be a bit like the modern Triumph motorcycles or AC cars.

I get that, but can the RFU be seen to give the green light to 3 clubs that have run up massive debt's and put them in the division below the Prem.

I think there will be many many questions asked if they do.

Biyi Alo has signed for Ealing.
This is getting a little bit ridiculous now.

Rugby Pass website had this as a story in April. Has it now been confirmed?

Freddie Burns rumoured by ruck.co.uk to be going to Ealing TrailfindersShocked

I wish I knew what the strategy being pursued is, hopefully it would make some sense as I’m struggling a little bit why we would sign stars of yesteryear when there seems little prospect of promotion in the next couple of seasons. Anyone gleen anything from the supporters association meet-up last night?

He has been to a lot of clubs now.  I wouldn't have thought he will get much game time at Ealing.

I don’t understand Ealing’s recruitment strategy. They must have a bigger squad than some Prem clubs, despite less fixtures and no Internationals to worry about. They have 3 or 4 high quality players to every position. How are they going to keep everyone happy and match fit?

The recruitment strategy is like a child in a sweet shop with a daddy who has virtually unlimited pockets. The only club in England that has a virtually limitless budget (as they are not subject to any salary cap).

Yes. Trailfinders official Twitter confirmed it earlier.

You forgot to mention that daddy owns the sweet shop

What is the arrangement with Northampton saints?

They've had a few good academy players recently. Will they spend time with you guys?

I can only presume Trailfinders know something we don’t, or why spend so big?

At least it should mean big gates at all away games, with home fans coming in the hope of a miracle win!!! Caldy will be building their new stand :-)))

Yes, we are awaiting an announcement of them but usually we get a large number that train the 2 nights a week with the rest of the squad and most have been with us the last few years.  We also get some of the senior squad requiring game time or coming back from injury or if we have a bit of an injury crisis.

14 new benches......that's right 14! installed on the Bank. Caldy will always have standing room but the benches work for the octogenarians....

Caldy is an environmentally friendly club so they work hard to ensure spectators can enjoy the environment unrestricted by roofs and walls or any form of heating other than the open fire in the clubhouse....

......just as it should be.

I assume Ealing are recruiting so strongly to make a statement in the Cup

So a play off between top of the Championship and bottom of the Premiership for a place at the top table. Best explanation of the Ealing squad investment yet?

Perhaps it was already out there, but it's only just landed with me.
