I agree. We read on other websites who has left Ampthill but not a squeak from the club until the new season is about to start. It is very frustrating. Mind you, the possible new conditions for the phantom Prem 2 might be an issue for the club. The ground might hold 3,000, there is no stand, and the pitch is a 200 yard walk through the woods from the clubhouse. |

I think a few Championship clubs might find either their current ground and/or planning objections make any new minimum standards impossible to achieve. Cambridge would suffer from the latter, especially as any improvements would be for only 11, then 13 home games - less than 20 hours of rugby a year, planning objectors would have a field day. Let's hope clubs' ambitions are pragmatic. Edited by FHLH - 15 Jun 2024 at 08:24 |

We were sorry to lose Ruaridh from Pirates - he's a very good scrum half and seriously quick!

Excellent news, I remember when Will was playing for Cambridge Wanderers, in the days we had a decent second XV. He soon forced his way into the 1st XV and then upwards to Cov. And of course scored against Cambridge at least once this season. I would check how many games he played for us, but someone needs to put a shilling in statbunker's meter.
