Love that - funny how the three of them have exactly the same voice! Brilliant.

Please note that the final fixture in this list should read:
‘London Scottish v Ealing’ - not that it’s likely to affect many predictions.

Jersey Reds v Richmond 5 - 1 Mond will make Jersey work for their supper
Doncaster v Ampthill  5 - 0 hoping for the lads maintaining their fortress Castle Park track record
Bedford Blues v Hartpury 4 - 1 could go the other way but I think Bedford should hold out
Coventry v Cornish Pirates 4 - 1 Cov has to play their socks off to get this result, Pirates will have to play well to take the W
London Scottish v Ealing  0 - 5 not sure any other result is likely, go on Scottish prove me wrong please?
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

Jersey 4-1 Mond Usually close affairs Jersey should have the edge in the pack but Mond have excellent half backs who should keep it close - the best bits of these teams could probably beat Ealing.
Donny 5-0 Amps At home Donny to go nap.
Blues 2-2 Pury More likely 4-1 either way but I will punt for a draw
Cov 1-5 Pirates - The visitors looked great against Notts and are hitting form at the right time
Scottish 0-5 Ealing - Exiles forwards will make Ealing work but unless its a really heavy pitch Ealing should take this by at least 3 clear scores.
Any streamed games this weekend?

Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Jersey 4-1 Richmond. Per the write-ups, Jersey looked quite lively last week. I think their mojo will see them home against Richmond.
Doncaster 5-0 Ampthill. Doncaster are on a roll, and they are playing at home. And although Ampthill are showing they can compete in this division, they are understandably not quite there against the professional sides. Dependant on health issues I might try to get to this one.
Bedford 5-2 Hartpury. The Bedford backs have not produced recently. Here is their chance to re-emerge, especially as Hartpury have lost their international Number 8!
Coventry 1-4 Cornish Pirates. The home side's injury woes continue and although they will put up a good effort, the Pirates should get the result.
London Scottish 0-5 Ealing. If I was the Ealing coach I would be applying the Australian approach. Go just as hard for the tenth try as the first. But I am not their coach so this might be closer than you think.
Always trying to stay bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

The Blues season is falling apart! After beating Jersey I expected them to kick on and try be in the top 4 or at least me comfortably 5th.

2 defeats in a row doesn't constitute a season falling apart TB! The Reds lost successive games to Blues & Donny either side of NY, gaining nil points - twice - for the only occasions so far this season & seeing a 7-game unbeaten home run crash & burn. Disappointing, but not the end of the world, and we managed a battling win to get the train back on the track last w/e...

Jersey 5 - 1 Richmond
Doncaster 5 - 0 Ampthill
Bedford 5 - 2 Hartpury
Coventry 0 - 5 Cornish Pirates
London Scottish 0 - 5 Ealing
For the ordinary purposes of conversation, a superficial knowledge of many things goes further than an intimacy with one or two.

TB supports a club where the supporters expect success because its what they have grown used to whereas in practice where any club ends up in the Championship league table probably reflects the investment in their squad and their luck or otherwise with injuries.

It might surprise you to know that some of the semi-Pro sides in the Championship are spending way more on their squads than some of the Full - Pro sides so that statement is slightly flawed.

Those clubs have players that are demanding wages way above what the Knights will pay, and pretty sure the Reds too - not sure how the Pirates budget is these days - and we know Ealing is swimming in cash (ish). The Semi-Pro clubs are still paying big bucks or giving opportunities in the City to work that pays nicely.

Luck and Injuries may have a part to play admittedly

Jersey Reds v Richmond 5 - 0 … Comfortable home win obviously!!
Doncaster v Ampthill 5 - 0 … Ampthill have some steel about them at the moment and will be a hard nut to crack, but Knights at home are formidable this season.
Bedford Blues v Hartpury 5 - 0 … Clear as day to me this one. Forecast is showing a great day for running rugby, none better at it than Bedford at home.
Coventry v Cornish Pirates 1 - 4 … I changed this from 0-5 to 1-4 as Pirates have struggled at times on the road this season. Cov not quite themselves this season, but improving, so could be a tighter game than I first thought.
London Scottish v Ealing 0 - 5 … Anything can happen at this level, but this would be one of the biggest shocks in years. Could make the league interesting though.

Good luck y'all. Stay safe now!

Where the real disappointment is, we have performed (expect Ealing) well against the top 4 clubs, beat Jersey and Knights at home, arguably could’ve beat Pirates away despite playing with 14 men for 40mins and Jersey away was close early on.

We seem to be lacking a bit of confidence at the moment and struggle against the lower teams more. We destroyed Ampthill away but at home it was one of the most boring Blues performances I have seen, which just kept dragging on.

Blues line out and poor defence against rolling mauls are basic weaknesses. You can have scintillating backs but if the engine room is faulty you will struggle.

Although the championship has a number of teams who train in the evening as opposed to in the day, i'd argue it's still very much a professional league.
One key reason being as pointed out above is a number of full/time players earn less then their part/time counterparts, regardless of the fact they train in the evening. These players are earning part-time what others earn for their living, in the same league.
Regarding Jobs in the city, i don't think any club currently provides these as a sweetener for players to join that are based within London.
The only "proper" semi-pro teams i'd argue are Richmond and potentially London Scottish who i'd guess have the smallest and second smallest budget in the league. The others are either hybrid or in-between models or just plain and simple full/time train in the day outfits.

Whilst potentially receiving lower wages then part/time counterparts, full/time clubs IMO have an advantage in the fact that they're full-time, they have a much larger amount of contact time both to train but also to gel as a squad, they'd likely have a longer pre-season aswell. They would have more time for stuff such as S&C, Skills, Analysis , those 1%'s that as fans sometimes it cannot be seen but come matchday across a season those marginal gains can have a big impact.
