Early kick offs at Lions v Blackheath (2.00 pm) and Tigers v Rams (2.30 pm) today. All others at 3.00 pm.

A lovely morning here in Manchester awaiting the visit of Rams for their first time. Should be a cracker of a game. KO is as seven has stated 14-30. I think Baker would fancy himself a loose forward on his day, he has a proven sidestep in him! Just had a read through the SP match programme for today and I must say it's very good. Not sure I've seen such a detailed and knowledgeable set of notes and articles not just from their club but from around the league as a whole. Well done. Enjoy the game

The Rosslyn Park members are just finishing their port and cheese and biscuits - the umpires are out on the plastic pitch which is taking spin - lots of A380 aircraft overhead which is very disturbing for the Birmingham players
