Both sides forcing errors. I suspect the winner - whoever it is - will have more than enough to deal with Argentina. But France and South Africa still have a lot to say in this tournament.

Breathtaking stuff. The world cup starts here. I’m from Irish stock but I’m really impressed with the All Blacks un-conventional contained structured play first 40. I can see them just edging it. Fingers crossed they do not. Great game. Great advert for rugby.
All the best ST

Stunning rugby from both teams, Ireland missed too many chances.

What a great game. The All Blacks exceptional in beating a very good Irish XV. No complaints. Great advert for the game.

Brilliant game. Can never write the All Blacks off in a world cup knockout game, my error! I'm now saying a NZ v France final...I think

Everyone knows that you cannot win international rugby with running rugby, you must kick the ball away at every opportunity.

The ball
Movement from hand was exceptional and certainly undid Ire in the 1st half.

Awesome match. All Blacks more clinical and deserving of their victory, Ireland making too many errors and wrong choices at key moments. A better performance from Ireland than the hammering they received four years ago.
New Zealand undoubted favourites to reach the final.

What a fantastic game that was.
The defending from both sides was phenomenal. I thought Ireland would finally get that monkey off their back, but as we all know, all bets are off when NZ are playing knockout rugby.
