Cornish Pirates 4 - 1 Jersey Very tight and could easily be Jersey's game but going home advantage Coventry 4 - 1 London Scottish I think Cov will squeeze a win Ealing 2 - 5 Doncaster We take it at the death (or this is what I am hoping for) Hartpury 5 - 2 Ampthill A strong tussle which could go either way Nottingham 4 - 1 Bedford Giving it to the home side after their 5 points last week they will have lifted their spirits |

Pirates 1 - 4 Jersey Could go either way but I fancy a Jersey win by one point and its streamed Coventry 1 - 4 Scottish Another close game but Scottish overdue a good result Ealing 5 - 0 Donny Could go either way but I think this will settle things could this one not be streamed too? Pury 3 - 2 Ampthill Two really well matched teams Nottingham 5 - 0 Bedford I think Notts will be going for this one. |

Cornish Pirates 1 - 5 Jersey … Jersey will be hurting after last week's defeat and will want to make amends. Pirates were shocking in Jersey earlier in the season and will want to make amends. Cracking game this one, but will go with Jersey as the weather is looking better!
Coventry 5 - 0 London Scottish … LS have improved so much over the course of the season, but Cov will be wanting to make a point here. Tough game, but home win. Ealing 1 - 4 Doncaster … These games just keep on coming. Ealing will be massively up for this game, but if Donny play like they did in Jersey then they will win a tight game. Doncaster are the best side that I have seen in Jersey this season and that includes Ealing. Hartpury 5 - 2 Ampthill … A great game for the spectator this one. Both teams will go toe to toe, but i think that Hartpury will win a high scoring game. Nottingham 0 - 5 Bedford … I fancy the Bedford backs to enjoy this game. Nottingham will score points, but Bedford to run away with it in the 2nd half. Edited by Brizzer - 23 Feb 2022 at 16:20 |

Cornish Pirates 4 - 1 Jersey … Not sure Pirates are firing but recent very stormy weather will mean the Mennaye will cut up...quickly into the match. Attritional!
Coventry 4 - 0 London Scottish … LS have improved but Cov to sneak it Ealing 4 - 1 Doncaster … Ealing survived a potential banana skin away in windy Jersey. Back at home they will win...but will they go conservative to make sure of victory?? Hartpury 5 - 1 Ampthill … Hartpury becoming a good mid-table Championship team Nottingham 5 - 2 Bedford … Could be high scoring with a win going either way. Going for Notts getting more clean set piece ball so getting the win. |

The Mennaye drainage is vastly improved plus the weather will be dry tomorrow and Saturday - so I expect the pitch to be pretty good.

Predictions:
Cornish Pirates 4 v 1 Jersey - Jersey have got a chance here but I would still expect fortress Mennaye to hold strong, could be a low-scoring game I think. Coventry 5 v 0 London Scottish - Coventry at home really should be getting the maximum in this one. Ealing 1 v 4 Doncaster - Two possible scenarios here i think. Either Ealing put it all together and blow us away in 40 minutes or Donny stay in it early and it’s a ding-dong scrap for the full 80 minutes. The longer it stays close the more I would fancy Donny. We’ve just got that knack of winning games at the moment and I think that could count for a lot in a game like this. Donny by 7. Hartpury 5 v 0 Ampthill - Hartpury should win this with ease I would say. Nottingham 2 v 5 Bedford - This could be end to end and I think a game like that suits Bedford more than a forward grind. I’m predicting both teams getting into the 30s and a narrow away win, tries galore in prospect. |

starting XV - Ealing team to face Doncaster tomorrow at Vallis Way. Only one change from last weekend's starting 15, but it is a big one as Simon Uzokwe is out with an injury. For my money, he has been the team MVP so far this year. Otherwise, I like the continuity from the team that put in probably the best Ealing performance of the year in the 2nd half last week at Jersey. Good to see Barney Maddison back from long term injury. 1. Will Davis 2. Jan-Henning Campher 3. Lewis Thiede 4. Bobby De Wee 5. James Cannon 6. Simon Linsell 7. Max Northcote-Green 8. Rayn Smid 9. Craig Hampson 10. Craig Willis 11. Angus Kernohan 12. Pat Howard 13. Max Bodilly 14. Luke Daniels 15. David Johnston Replacements 16. Shaun Malton 17. Kyle Whyte 18. George Davis 19. Gary Porter 20. Barney Maddison 21. Jordan Burns 22. Steven Shingler 23. Len Massyn |

Predictions:
Cornish Pirates 5 v 1 Jersey - Jersey put up a real battle against Ealing, and Pirates just managed to pip it away last weekend at Bedford, but I think that Pirates will put on a more comprehensive showing at the Mennaye. Coventry 5 v 0 London Scottish - Rarely go wrong predicting against Scottish. Ealing 5 v 0 Doncaster - Ealing seems to be in some kind of a see-saw where they play well for a few weeks, get complacent, lose, then play lights out for a few weeks before leveling off. I think that they will still be stinging from the Blues loss, and they know that this is virtually a play-off game. Hartpury 5 v 0 Ampthill - Hartpury seems like a different, more cohesive unit this year. Ampthill won't have enough to win away. Nottingham 1 v 5 Bedford - Regardless of table position, I think that Nottingham has exceeded my expectations. Nevertheless, Bedford has stepped up the last couple of weeks, and with better game management could have claimed another scalp. Going with Bedford. |

I love being a supporter of the underdog, there is no pressure on the Knights, we win (fantastic) we lose (it was expected). Ealing are the team with all the pressure on their shoulders, if they are contained for the first 40 minutes there will be a lot of twitching in the dressing room at half time and then who knows…..
Definitely going to hear the Knights supporters tomorrow cheering the lads on from the pitch side and stands. Cannot wait to get there tomorrow.

Cornish Pirates 4-1 Jersey. Whoever plays at home wins this fixture. Two fine sides.
Coventry 5-1 London Scottish. Provided Coventry turn up, they should score 4 tries and get the win. Ealing 4-1 Doncaster. Only because Donnyknightfan predict Hartpury to beat Ampthill easily Hartpury 1-4 Ampthill. Why not? Nottingham 4-1. Bedford. Nottingham to surprise Bedford on their home patch. |

I think you do your team a disservice in stating that they are underdogs. Many rollingmaulers have stated that any team can win on any given day. By putting Simon Lindsell at 6 / blindside flanker I wonder if Ealing will allow him to play on the side of the scrum put in. This can used to add power to the loose head or tight head drive accordingly. Having two powerful second rows driving through one side of the scrum.
