It's not about the teams, it's about the individuals.  Maybe England are greater than the sum of their parts and New Zealand & South Africa less so.

Players from seven nations – Australia, England, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland and South Africa – have been selected in the Dream Team by the World Rugby Awards Panel with all four of the Men’s 15s Player of the Year nominees included. Classic error made! Kolisi picked  at 6 which is open side in S Africa and blind side in the rest of the world!
