Predictions:
Bedford 1 - 5 Ealing - Bedford are better than their 8th placed league position would suggest but I doubt that they are good enough to beat Ealing. Maybe Blues could get 4 tries though. Jersey 5 - 0 Coventry - Jersey were looking much improved before the bye week and I think that they will carry that form on at home with a crowd. Coventry have been a bit up and down this year. Richmond 1 - 4 Nottingham - Nottingham have been close in a couple of games. This is by far their best chance of getting a win on the board this season and I think they’ll do it, but only just. Cornish Pirates 5 - 0 Hartpury - Pirates have lost their last two games at home which will have annoyed them. I expect a strong rebound against a Hartpury side who have been porous defensively this season. Saracens 5 - 0 Ampthill - Played on a Monday Night to give the underdogs the boost of a home crowd!!!. On a serious note Amps did get a try bonus point away to Falcons last season, they couldn’t do it again could they?. Not for me.

Bedford 0 - 5 Ealing - I've seen Ben Ward do very bizarre things when going to Goldington Road (for example subbing most of the team too early). I think he's learned his lesson though, and that Ealing get another strong win. Jersey 5 - 0 Coventry - Jersey looking to grow into the season, and they won't want to let the home supporters down. Richmond 4 - 1 Nottingham - The mighty Mond looked much better to me than Nottingham did when they played Ealing, regardless of the scoreline. I think they'll bundle over for a few tries and pip Nottingham in a battle of semi-pro teams. Cornish Pirates 5 - 0 Hartpury - Pros vs. amateurs, regardless of the odd surprise (Ampthill vs. Pirates), most of the traffic is one way. Saracens 1 - 4 Ampthill - You know what I said in the previous prediction? Ignore that. The Rugby gods are going to deliver an end of lockdown miracle.

Bedford 0-5 Ealing - Bedford are indeed better than their league position suggests and can cause Ealing problems with their attack but given Ealing are averaging over 50 points against teams that aren’t saracens I only see this going one way
Jersey 5-0 Coventry - Jerseys form improved and will get the win in front of home crowd Richmond 4-1 Nottingham - Nottingham’s best chance of a win this season but I’m still going with them to finish 0-10. Closest game of weekend though. Pirates 5-0 Hartpury - Pirates too strong, home banker Saracens 5-0 Ampthill - Obviously

Bedford 0-5 Ealing. But probably not by 50 points.
Pirates 5-1 Hartpury. Pirates could score 50 points, but Hartpury might get 30 themselves. Jersey 5-0 Coventry. Jersey are on the up and have a passionate crowd to act as the 16th man. Richmond 1-5 Nottingham. Nottingham seem to be improving every game, but I have no knowledge of Richmond so this is a total guess. So who does that leave? Saracen 5-0 Ampthill. This is a small club experiencing their biggest competitive game in their history, against a side containing Lions and internationals. It is Manchester United versus Ampthill Town Football Club. When Mark Lavery was interviewed on BBC TV at the start of the season he said it will probably be 100-0 but who cares. I think Saracens will win easily but I think the As will play out of their skins.......... |

Cov won last time out at Jersey in front of a bigger crowd than they will presumably be allowed on Saturday

JO makes a fair point. Not sure about Cov, but only 5 of the Reds' 22-man squad (taken from match report) are still here 2 years after that match in April 2019, as indicated in bold; 3 of the 5 probably won't feature this w/e due to injury/suspension... JERSEY REDS: Herron; Stapley (Howley 78), Ma'afu, Eastwell, Van Dam; Penberthy, Homer; Godfrey (c) (Morley 78), Selway (Macfarlane 72), Atalifo (Alexis 62), Bartle (Hallam-Eames 72), Beckett, Upfield (Joyce 72), Hatherell, Venter (Newey 74). COVENTRY: Halaifonua; Bulumakau (Kessell 78), Stevens (c), Owen, Trimble (Knox 59); Maisey, White; Gibbons (Ellis 51), Dawidiuk (Tolmie 23), Brighouse (Boulton h-t), Russell (Oram 51), Woolford (Voss h-t), Nutley, Ram, Adams |

A maximum of eight of those might turn out for Cov.
Sorry, seven. Haven't seen hide nor hair of Bulumakau yet, although he's still listed. Very, very doubtful I imagine.

From the Cov side, the following players are still on the books...
Bulumakau Owen, Knox White, Boulton, Woolford, Nutley, Of those, any except Bulumalau might (in fact probably will) appear. - so 6 players. The rest are a mixture of younger development players. And a cherry picked scattering of DRs.

Hi Kimbo. Sorry, I didn't spot your original posting until after writing and posting mine. I nearly made the same error.
