Due to a couple of cancellations Blackheath are looking for a preseason friendly on weekend of 27th August, as it’s bank holiday weekend Friday night under lights at Well Hall would be a decent option still allowing for the 3 days holiday. Please reply on here or PM me and we will get back to you

Esher have scheduled pre=season matches against Sutton & Epsom, Newport (Wales) and Rosslyn Park during August. Can't help Blackheath, I'm afraid.

Both Friday Night Light games? Blackheath have the game advertised as Saturday 21st at Esher. Regardless fantastic opposition and solid financial options for pre season! Fingers crossed for a noisy stand

Doncaster have had to call off the match with Rotherham Titans set for Friday 13th August as it 'infringes professional protocols' regarding testing!

All National League Clubs have been told they cannot play Championship Clubs because they are considered elite sport and National League Clubs are not!

Bit more to it than that - however I am very annoyed with this ruling. It would have been great to see Roth at Castle Park. And we wanted to give Challinor and Flockhart a nice send off after such great careers with our club. I think the lower league clubs could have had rolling subs etc. To reduce the perceived ‘danger’ but the covid thing…anyone got any ideas? Hope we get to play them later in the year

We (Roth) are away at Sale tomorrow but according to the local paper the game is being played with uncontested scrums as Sale have unavailability. As we have lost the Donny game, I'm hoping that Leeds do have a squad for the week after.

I don’t think they would want to face our front row. Seeing as most of them are from Doncaster I wouldn’t blame them.
Can’t understand why the Donny game was called off….for our safety??? It’s Roth we’re talking about, not the Bolshoi ballet. I also hear Old Elthamians have withdrawn from Nat 1 in which case we should take their place, given we shouldn’t have been relegated in the first place.

Too late for that, unfortunately. They would have needed to pull out before the fixtures were posted.

OE's totally disrespectful to their fellow clubs which is why they will attract little sympathy for their predicament. Been brewing for months (years?) and decision should have been taken much earlier

I remember when Hayward's Heath did that the Thursday before the league started once, it annoyed all the other clubs in the league. If they knew they had no money to fund travel, the honourable thing would have been to say so at the first opportunity. Rotherham are probably absolutely fuming because that could have reprieved them.
