Happy New year everyone

Let's hope that things return to some kind of normality in 2021; that we can see some live rugby in safe conditions and that we can enjoy safely mingling in a clubhouse once again.

Happy New Year and good health to everyone!

Good health is the only thing people should be concerned about.

It’s frightening reading the threads on here and money is the common denominator in them all.  Clubs missing out playing Sarries, we need to play as clubs need money, players on furlough.

Don’t follow the path of the most incompetent Government that’s ever resided in Parliament.

Concentrate on public health.  Rugby is simply not important right now and until public health becomes the one and only factor in decision making then the country won’t move on.

Think community not self.

Have to agree Monkey Boy - well said! Without turning this into a political argument I'm not sure any other government set up would have dealt with it any better. What does anger me is all this thanking the great British public for complying with the rules when clearly there is a large contingent, maybe even a majority, completely ignoring them and someone needs to come out and tell it like it is. Similarly if someone manages to find a loophole and exploit it then they seem to think they won't catch the virus (in some ways trying to get rugby started, or any other sport for that matter, falls into that category)
I ventured into a town centre last week to pick up a 'Click and Collect' order. I wish I hadn't, it was totally manic - lengthy queues outside every shop, ferrel kids running around, retail parks gridlocked with traffic and endless queues for numerous 'drive throughs'. You honestly wouldn't have known there was a pandemic on

What you’ve witnessed is because the worst administration in world politics has been in charge (both parties as genuinely there isn’t an opposition party).

But regardless of politics far too many people are chatting economics.

Listen to the scientists (not those who’ve melted in the spotlights) not the self centred British public.

You see the scientists saying close schools to break the transmission chain.  You then have M/J rugby coaches wanting to play matches and a governing body that caves in to popularity.

Rugby should be on hold.  Make your own decisions if you have to.  Stop the transmission, stay indoors, the virus only moves on people and every selfish person who ignores it all just prolongs it for everyone else.
