Is there scope for a Women's rugby section? Must admit I am surprised if this has never been suggested before. With the apparent success and publicity of the recent run of England wins (other Nations are involved too) and the televising of Women's rugby on the BBC it seems that the interest is growing.

Presumably the fact you are asking this question after several years of the Women's Premiership should give you your answer |

Yet we still have to discuss the morality of Harlequins buying their way into the league with their aggressive takeover of Aylesford Bulls on here!

The Women's game has evolved significantly in recent years, impressive growth & I thought the England women's team were sold a bit short on SPOTY last night, almost victims of their own success (while losing men's football team got 2 of the leading awards).
I don't sense there are many female posters on RM (apart from Mrs Oliphant ) - we're a bit of an old boys' club; maybe this would help attract some? Not that you have to be female to chat about women's rugby, but an expanded RM congregation would be a +ve thing

Assuming it would not cost anything to add another forum, I cannot see the down-side. It might not take off, but is that a problem.

Rename the Championship Cup topic. It’s not been used for 20 months. Even when it was used there wasn’t much interest in the competition.
