Predictions:
London Scottish 5 v 0 Yorkshire Carnegie - want to see YC get more competitive but can't see it this weekend. Scottish by 30.
Nottingham 1 v Cornish Pirates 5 - Pirates were not far off against Falcons and I would expect them to have the measure of Nottingham, even at Lady Bay.
Newcastle 5 v Jersey 0 - hopefully Jersey can produce one of their trademark big scalps but it will be very tough at Kingston Park against a strong Falcons side and pack.
Ampthill 4 v Hartpury 1 - both sides will have targeted this game for a 4 point haul but I think Ampthill should edge it on their home patch.
Doncaster 4 v Bedford 1 - both teams really need this win but I'm hoping Donny's home advantage is the difference. not confident though. both teams are busted with injuries.
Ealing 5 v Coventry 0 - Ealing at home are a real handful and I think they'll be too strong for a good Coventry side.

London Scottish 5 v 0 Yorkshire Carnegie -  can't see Carnegie getting much out of this one
Nottingham 1 v Cornish Pirates 5 - Pirates too strong despite Notts scoring a fair few points
Newcastle 5 v Jersey 0 - 38-12 Falcons with comfortable win
Ampthill 5 v Hartpury 1 - Amps should score 4 tries as they settle into life in second tier
Doncaster 4 v Bedford 1 - Bedford not firing and Donny to nick low scoring affair
Ealing 5 v Coventry 0 - Ealing to ramp it up on their fast home track

Steadman and Woods worked together at Hull Ionians. Steadman gets my vote every time his preparation is first class and the players have his respect

London Scottish 5 v 0 Yorkshire Carnegie - Carnegie looking better week on week, and Scottish struggling following a great cup debut, but I think a trip to the RAG will be too much for them to break through on.
Nottingham 1 v Cornish Pirates 4 - Pirates played Newcastle very tight, and I think they'll edge this one.
Newcastle Falcons 4 v Jersey Reds 0
Ampthill & District 4 v Hartpury 1 - The cavalry will arrive soon for Hartpury, but not quite yet methinks.
Doncaster Knights 4 v Bedford Blues 1 - Knights to charge down a very thin Blues side.
Ealing Trailfinders 5 v Coventry 1 - I predict a try-fest on the plastic pitch, to be won by the home side in front of 500 fans.

My commiserations to the Ampthill and Hatbury players and the spectators for their match this week. You may get to see about 30 minutes of actual rugby if Mt Turvey is as woeful v as he was at the Mennaye last Sunday. That's not sour grapes as Newcastle deserved the win.

Yeah - the crowds haven't impressed so far this year, and my guess is that the supporters from Cov may just have watched some other, unimportant Rugby earlier in the day which might preclude them being sober enough to make the trek down to London.

London Scottish 5 v 1 Yorkshire Carnegie (Think YC may sneak another point)
Nottingham 1 v Cornish Pirates 5 (Pirates looking good)
Newcastle Falcons 4 v Jersey Reds 1 (Juicy!!)
Ampthill & District 5 v Hartpury 2
Doncaster Knights 3 v Bedford Blues 3 (injury struck teams I really don't know who or what will turn up for either team)
Ealing Trailfinders 5 v Coventry 2 (I really don't know, as another cracker to be sure giving it to home advantage)
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

London Scottish 4-1 Yorkies Could go either way

Nottingham 1-5 Cornish Pirates A difficult trip but Pirates should be top 4 this season

Newcastle Falcons 1-5 Jersey Stop laughing Falcons power in the front row will tell but in my dreams Jersey defence to hold firm and back line to score 5 (yes FIVE) tries on Saturday - IF THEY KEEP 15 ON THE PITCH FOR THE FULL 80 MINUTES

Ampthill 5-0 Hartpury - Home advantage to count

Doncaster Knights 4-1 Bedford both squads struggling to get their strongest team on the field

Ealing Trailfinders 5-1 Coventry Two really strong squads but yet to really hit the straps. At home Ealing should take it.

Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.
