Our yearbook for the 2002-03 season, which has a section providing directions to all of the clubs in the league, had a page dedicated to Oxford Eagles, with directions to the Kassam. Ironic that moving there, while not the final nail in the coffin, certainly precipitated our decline.

I don't remember/hadn't realised that the Oxford based team had been named. A couple of years later Wakefield were subjected to the same approach.

Luckily it came (at Mose) down to a vote - including (or possibly entirely, it's a long time ago now) creditors. IIRC the margin in favour of rejecting (or against accepting, depending on which way you look at it) was extremely narrow - something like 2%. But it was enough. The consortium got over the line. Onwards and upwards.
