Dickon. It wont be long mate. Time will fly by. Be positive. We have The Lions, Home nations tours,  plenty of 7's tournos, Southern Hemisphere competitions, and loads of time filling in these blogs to keep us all going, until late August then the pre-season friendlys ko. Withdrawal symptoms will be tested but not quite cold turkey.!!

If barking had a few points under their belt they could have got their second reprieve in 2 years!

I have been told by a friend this afternoon that Thurrock have elected to go south. Perhaps they fancy their chances a bit better there. They will be missed. Great committee and good team to play.

They probably would have just given a reprieve to Sudbury a la London Welsh.

well they won't have far to travel for the majority of their fixtures. good luck to them.

I would be interested in keeping a level 6 discussion open if the Mods are happy to?

Camquin, sorry after all your efforts there is another change in the LSE leagues.

Just found out HAC have had points deducted for an unregistered player and so they won't be promoted. South Woodham Ferrers will go up. So it looks like now it'll Thurrock going into L1S, not quite such a stunning location!!!

There were some errors in the Midlands allocations above, certainly Syston are an East club and as was sorted out above no Midlands to London transfer is needed at this level. I have also heard that Bugbrooke have been transferred South West presumably because Leighton Buzzard were able to activate the one year protection rule. Midlands West therefore seems to have 13 and Midlands East 15 so one team will need to move. Could be Lutterworth or Melbourne I guess.

Agreed it is really good to see this section of the forum continuing after the RFU re-structuring.

You can say that again - lots of local derbies as well which should be interesting.

How are travelling expenses to the IOM get sorted ? Does it come from a tax on residents ?

Probably the same as with Jersey and Guernsey, the RFU pay for it.

Oh don't say that... I was hoping for a peaceful Loo Free season .....Tongue

It is bad enough keeping track of what we've already got without adding more. I was thinking of culling the former NL3.

In so doing, putting an end to the best predictions league...IN THE WORLD!!!
