Most of Chinnors side were on loan last season!

They used more loan players than any other side in the league!

Ldn Irish, Ealing, Coventry, Doncaster, Jersey,Ldn Scottish, CP to name just the 7  clubs that loan players arrived from during the season!

I personally think that Willie Ryan is a touch of class, just didn't seem to get his chances at Doncaster. I think he will tear it up at Nat 1 level if he finds his feet.
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

Personally I would have kept him and let another go, CPK is right, class.

Monkey Magic. What was the situation then? Do Chinnor have more loanees than similar clubs? Word was that you had quite a few injuries last season.

I have no idea if Chinnor had more or less loans than other clubs. So if Intouch has the info on all the clubs then we'd all be interested to see.......................

In not sure InTouch has the details. I understood we had players on loan from Exeter and Northampton as well as Ealing, Coventry, Jersey, London Scottish and Doncaster. No-one from London Irish or Pirates as far as I can tell

I make it 50 players were used during the season, 20 backs, 30 forwards. No idea how that compares to anyone else but yes, lots of injuries.

I thought he was talented, but was not a first team regular at Richmond. I don't know if it was injury or just kept out of the team by others.

Chinnor May have had many loan players but that is what it is about bringing players in to help and cover injuries. They managed the position and didn’t contravene any regulations so what’s the issue

Rabbie quite right no regulations contravened. Question is really what kind of club are they choosing to be? Are they just a provider of game time for failed players at a higher level or are they seeking to achieve some kind of club identity. I note they failed to fulfill a large amount of their 2nd team Zoo league fixtures so it would appear that local players are voting with their feet and going elsewhere. Questions always is what happens to the club when the reason to play for them ie money disappears?

"Darlington Mowden Park RFC are delighted to announce the signings of Euan McKirdy and Aedan Moloney ahead of the upcoming National One season. The pair become Mowden’s latest signings of the summer, and will join up with the club’s pre-season preparations starting next month."

Pete Glackin joins Mose as head coach from Bees. Any Bees or Cov fans have any thoughts on him? Must admit he's a new name on me. Will be working under Adam Balding (I'm guessing Cov's the connection here....?)

No, seriously, Glacks was coach before Winter was brought in. He also ran (still runs?) the Henley College Academy (which was Cov's, but mysteriously became Wasps's after Glackin's dismissal. Hmm. Can't think why).

To clarify slightly more, he was _a_ coach in that period, the backs coach. All three coaches were released by the club when Rowland Winter was brought in, and brought his team of coaches in, and at that point a stage of stagnation ended.
