Moseley 4 Bishop`s Stortford 1 - hopefully a bit of wake-up call last Saturday so addressing the (small) errors that were costing us a lot
Blackheath 1 Richmond 4 - could go either way but fancy Mond on the road
Cambridge 4 Cinderford 1 - another one that could go either way but Cambridge have a good chance
Chinnor 5 Hull Ionians 1 - I'm going to keep predicting Hull to get a point out of a match until they get at least that, they've got the power and the players. However, I would suggest that they are unlikely to kick-start their season with a win away at Chinnor...
Darlington Mowden Park 4 Rams 1 - I hope DMP are watching the videos from Saturday. Rams are good, and they deserved their win, but Mose butchered their chances and Rams played very one dimensional rugby (and played it very well I hasten to add, possibly it was one dimensional because that's all they needed to do to beat us). Due a wake-up call from a team that can get its act together I think*
Plymouth Albion 4 Rotherham 1 - home win
Rosslyn Park 5 Canterbury 0 - RP banker
Sale FC 1 Old Elthamians 4 - could go either way this one

*probably not the thread for it, but I think that we deserved to lose, and I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Rams (and recommend it to the travelling public of N1), but talking to some of their supporters it seems that this was the second game in a row where Rams fell away in terms of fitness after about 65 mins, which is AIUI where Cambridge scored most/all of their points, and where Mose nearly pinched it. They are a good side, and I hope to go back down there again next season, but I would have liked to see what they can do a bit more than wait for us to make a mistake and capitalise on it. Again, to be fair, if that's what your opponents are offering then why wouldn't you, but I felt (trying not to be too one-eyed) that we were pretty evenly matched beyond our inability to catch the high ball or carry the ball to the ground in the tackle.** Good luck to them frankly, nice people, fair result.

**both of which hadn't been a problem the week before. As I said on our forum, against Hull we tried loads of things and it all came off, against Rams I think they tried to play the same way and it didn't. Some of that will be because Rams are better than Hull (which they undoubtedly are), but some of it is because I reckon some of our lads got a bit Huckleberryy***, and a stronger opposition reminded them that they're not the 1970s Wales side.

***over-confident

Moseley               5 - 0      Bishops Stortford   BM firing on all cylinders at home

Blackheath            0 - 4      Richmond     too close to call but a dire game nicked by Richmond

Cambridge             4 - 1      Cinderford    I cannot say here so I'll go with heart but suspect that Cinderford may nick it.

Chinnor               5 - 0      Hull Ionians  HI no match for a rampant and well funded Chinnor

Darlington MP         1 - 5      Rams  although DMP are at home, I suspect that another well funded side in Rams will enjoy themselves

Plymouth Albion       4 - 0      Rotherham     Tricky start to the season for Plymouth but Roth will suffer after a long journey

Rosslyn Park          5 - 1      Canterbury   Need to watch this Canterbiury side who did so well last week but RP advertising board to make it through

Sale FC               0 - 5      Old Elthamians   I think Sale will suffer at OE hands - again a well funded team!!
