Definitely beatable. We missed a late penalty which would have given us a deserved losing BP. Pirates conceded too many penalties at the breakdown and got two yellow cards in the second half which made life a bit difficult!

Cov no doubt happy with win but 4 tries conceded sounds sloppy? Will Leeds win a game this season?
Run with it

Only if they improve. Or have an injection of new players like last season. I fancy that will be more difficult to achieve than it was then.

Disappointing result but the players and coaches can be proud of the defensive effort. We were constantly pinned in our 22 and to only keep falcons to 18 points is an incredible defensive effort.

They won their first point so looking up. It's a far better league imo if they don't get out of sight in 12th place.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

According to the BBC website, teams, Josh Matevesi played at inside centre for Newcastle Falcons at Cornish Pirates this afternoon, whilst at the same time played at inside centre for Yorkshire Carnegie against Coventry at the same time.
Surely this is a mistake on the team sheets or is cloning in operation?

So Jersey’s spot at the top of the tree was short lived and we travel to Newcastle next weekend. Hey ho!
Then again, the lads had a great 2nd half on Friday and are really looking forward to the trip.... we shall see how it pans out.

Not out of the question that Jersey could get a win at Newcastle.
