And so the LS hoodoo continues. We just can't beat them. Always losing to them in the last few minutes. Of all sides to have a curse against. How on earth did Hartpury completely dismantle them last week. Bizarre.

One cannot place the blame with Mr Turvey as he was very unfair to both sides in equal measure !! I feel the standard of officiating has dropped significantly jthis season.

A number of officials in Japan (for some reason) - are they back in domestic action yet? If not a lof
of officials will have been up a league from normal, hence perception they are not as good?

Yes, some at least are back.
Two weeks ago we had an excellent referee, who had been an AR in Japan.

Last week we had a poor performance by a referee who only managed to get two scrummages completed in the whole game, but yet chose not to sin bin any players for scrummaging offences all match.

This week I’m cautiously optimistic, with Fergus Kirby in charge.

Doncaster 9 - 24 (3T) Ealing
