Evening all, today's results and league points

ALNWICK 53 ILKLEY 0  5-0 +10

BILLINGHAM 5  BLAYDON 24 0-5 +10

BLACKBURN 30  KIRKBY LONSDALE 10  5-0  +10

CARLISLE 11 SANDAL 17 1-4  -10

MACCLESFIELD 35 HARROGATE 14 5-0  +10

ROSSENDALE 19  LYMM 29  0-5  +10

WIRRAL 54  MORPETH 11  5-0  +10

Some stunning scorelines this week which means it is all change at the top of the league with Macclesfield taking over top spot from Harrogate with Blaydon in third and Billingham sliding to 4th after a 4th consecutive defeat..Some big winners , Alnwick saw off the visit of Ilkley with a 53-0 pounding.. Wirral also eased away from the lower reaches of the the table with a comprehensive 54-11 defeat of Morpeth.
Match of the day was at Macclesfield where the home side defeated the former leaders Harrogate comfortably 35-14, while Blaydon inflicted the 4th straight defeat on Billingham 5-24.
Blackburn were comfortable winners at home to Kirkby Lonsdale , Sandal had to dig deep to see off Carlisle and Rossendale succumbed to a lively Lymm outfit 19-29.
At the lower end of the league , Ilkley look doomed , Morpeth are in danger while Wirral helped their cause with their big win. Some interesting match ups next week, will post the fixtures in the morning, yours truly has had a long day in the wilds of West Hartlepool (and a last minute defeat as well)

Cheers!

A brutal game at Priory Park, some very big hits and a big hole in Big Billy Robinson's leg. Gate struggled with the wind and Macc's defence; top match!
