Maybe in the meantime Steven Shingler could recommend a local amateur club who'd be happy to give him a game on a Saturday if he fancies a run out...?

KnightsBoy, hope it doesn't happen but in the event of a major catastrophic injury crisis do you suppose that Joe might put his playing boots on again? Bit like Paul Cooke did a few seasons back.

Good lad. Always enjoyed chatting with him post match at Cambridge. But that is true of most of the front row player.

That is true. Had the most interesting conversations with Ali Lyon when he was playing for Richmond. Pleasant and articulate.

Pappa I showed your comment to my mate , a Richmond supporter. He was not sure they had been the words used by all loose heads who had played against Ali Lyon......

Shane O’Leary- Nottingham to Rouen.
He’ll be a big loss.

Old Gold I expect not. On and off the field are different things. He certainly got the best of those loose heads, judging by the way the scrum moved when he was playing.

Thanks, Shush.
Shocked at a couple of them but somehow not really surprised. Rugby Paper is touting Heffernan to Connacht as well.

Yes I read that, I'm sure he'd prefer to stay in England but needs must I suppose. Just to confirm, Seb Cecil has joined Watsonians in Edinburgh. Seb was a 1st class player and will be a huge loss, I'm pleased for him but gutted for Nottingham. Marie, do you know of any Nottingham players that are staying/signed?
