Very sad to see Frosty leave us, but he deserves his chance in the top flight. Brilliant player and a lovely bloke. Good luck to him.

Cornish Pirates prop Jay Tyack has signed for premiership side Worcester Warriors for next season but due to injuries he will join them with immediate effect and miss our last game of the season at Jersey.
Jay has been tremendous for the Pirates this season and fully deserves his chance at the top level.
Its a bit ironic that Jersey recently took a prop on loan from Worcester and we now lose our best tight head ahead of Saturdays game.
A little fact to go with the signing if you look at the Worcester squad for next season 3 of their props have strong links to the pirates.
Jay Tyack, Christian Judge(currently at Bath)and Ex-D/R Jack Owlett from Exeter(currently at Wasps). We must be doing something right and the RFU still insist that the championship doesn't develop players for the premiership.

Very sad to see him go, but this is the reality of where we are. Good luck to him.

We (Jersey Reds) announced a prop (Joe Morris), but then WW had some injuries and he never actually made it across - hence last week's signing of Will Vaughan from Bath to keep us 'quorate' in terms of front row resources...

The moral of the story is don't announce players until their plane has landed! Smile

Ealing announced the signing of Reuben Bird-Tulloch from Northampton. A great signing for them, but very surprised he’s dropping down permanently to this division. I’ve got him earmarked as potential future international, think he’s ready for the prem now and is wasted in this division.

‘... dropping down permanently ...’ - a little presumptuous, if I may say so LOL

I guess with no relegation, it will be Ealing's best chance ever next season.....

Bedford announce captain and prop Sean McCarthy will be retiring. We have also signed at least one of the saints players that were released today along with RBT (Tui Uru, Tommy Matthews, Ryan Olowafela) but not sure which one... My guess would be Uru and maybe we’ll get one of the other’s too.

Good timing as the Jersey stayers/goers list is just out. 21/30 permanent from current squad remaining + 2 loanees becoming permanent + 1 season-long absentee returning after health scare + more signings to follow in due course. LINK

Good signing for Ealing, I thought of all the Northants youngsters at Bedford this season, he was the stand out.  To be fair most of them are pretty good.

If Bedford can keep some of the others (that was always the plan) and get a pack to go with them they will be lethal.  Thats if the other teams include their 10-15 in their game plan

Wonderful news from Jersey and delighted to see probably a record in recent times of players retained. Some real quality players moving on particularly a couple of back row lads who imo would be first choice starters in most Championship teams.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Is it his aim to play for every club in the Championship inside 3 seasons?
Only got a couple more to tick off, if that’s the case!

AFAIK 'Salad' has only played for two Champ clubs up to now: Jersey Reds & Hartpury
