Park won 19-12 - fully deserved. Watched on facebook, to be frank, Richmond looked pretty ordinary but take nothing away from Park

Similar to Richmond’s last away outing at OEs when they went tryless against 14 man OEs. Last five games should be very interesting. Excellent coverage btw by Mr Muggleton from Park on Facebook.

Watched live.RP know their surface and had the line outs and rolling mauls down to a T. Mond trying too hard, perhaps ,and made a couple of crucial errors.Thought they did a lot better in the second half when RP seemed to lose a lot of momentum. At 14-12 it was anybody's game. Not sure choosing to take three points after battering the line a couple of times was a good decision. Mond still have a seven points advantage and the title is theirs to lose.

Really enjoyed this one - great occasion at The Rock with 2237 there. Good to catch up with some old faces (but sorry to miss you 728!). Park the dominant team in 1st half so would have been v disappointed with 7-6 at HT, so the last-play try to make it 14-6 was very important.
Then visitors on top for most of 2nd half, they seemed a bit uncertain what to do with penalties, sometimes going for goal and sometimes not. Next key stage was when they got a pen about 40m out with 12ish mins to play at 14-12 and went for corner - presumably because the kicker thought it was at the margin of his range? The lineout led to a scrum at which Richmond - on top at scrum-time for most of the game - were penalised and Park were able to get away. Just watched the highlights back, something Richmond's #9 won't want to do: for Park's 3rd try he was flapping his arms and complaining to Sir rather than watching and defending as Hugo Ellis broke from back of maul and gave scoring pass to Dan Laventure. Similar to Jonny May not playing to the whistle in Paris 5 weeks ago. Park delighted to do the double over Mond altho' perhaps a tinge of disappointment at allowing the visitors a BP - the final conversion was certainly makeable. Keeps the title race alive although it would be a surprise if Richmond can't get the job done. They have Sale (h) Albion (a) Cam (h) Mose (a) and DMP (h). Max points at home and a few BPs on the road should do it, esp as Park and Rams still have to play each other...
