I was hoping something better would crop up - but if not that as an option was a decent alternative - especially if you cannot manage to travel to some of the long away trips.

It was a belting match at La Rabine tonight, a privilege to have been among the 2,960 crowd. So proud of the way the young/new-look Reds side hung in there in the first half, battled back in the 2nd and then could have won it in a pulsating mad-cap last play when the match could have been won and lost by both sides but eventually finished 'as you were'...

A cup competition between ProD2 and Championship teams would be brilliant and generate big crowds and lots of us travelling to some great places. Unfortunately the RFU don't have any desire to back anything that would be a success, it seems they want The Championship to fail.
