I thought Blues played well yesterday against a decent Saints team, physical and tackling hard, their usual self in attack and the lineout out on Saints ball stole a lot.

Scrum gave away a few penalties but not many.

Great to have Wayne Barnes over for the Sharks game - making his Jersey debut after 4 World Cups, 95 tests etc. My favourite moment was when a home player committed a rather cynical offence around the hour mark and Sir invited him to 'take a short break'... Tongue

Saints weren’t often trying to win penalties on their put in as they wanted to get it out and run set plays so I wouldn’t read too much into that

Jersey fans, do you know what’s happened to Ryan Hutler? I think he was the best winger in the league when you signed him from us. He didn’t feature at all last year and hasn’t featured in pre season so can only assume he picked up a major injury before last season started but do you know what happened?
