Chinnor announced signing of Fred Tuilagi from London Scottish today.
Ben Manning's return was also confirmed earlier in the week I believe.

Birmingham Moseley re-sign Harry O'Brien and Sam Pointon, and sign Tom Benjamin from Nottingham.  All expected to compete for the 15 shirt, although Sam can also play scrum-half and wing.

Maybe more centres, scrum-halfs and a couple of 10s to come and the squad should almost be complete (?)

Darlington Mowden Park are thrilled to announce that Warren Seals has re-signed with the club ahead of the upcoming National One season. The 29 year-old will go into his sixth season with DMP, having made his debut against Richmond in 2015. Asked about extending his stay with the club, Seals commented: “I’m very happy to have signed for Mowden for another year and I’m looking forward to an exciting season ahead.”

Since his debut in 2015 the South African fly half has made 92 appearances for the club, either side of a spell in the Championship with Yorkshire Carnegie. This has seen Seals rack up over 750 points in a DMP shirt, including a league-leading 267 points in the 2019/20 campaign.

DMP Director of Rugby Garry Law added: "It's a massive bonus going into the new season with Warren on board. He is a fans favourite and someone who a lot of how we operate goes through. He is a points machine, most evident on the previous season where he was a good amount of points ahead of anyone else in the league. Like everything due to this pandemic we've experienced, Warren's work commitments have changed slightly so his availability is probably not 100% but something we are more than happy to work with."

"Over the good few years he has been with Mowden I have seen him grow into a leader who is well respected within the current squad which will be key to guide the newly assembled squad."

The comment about Warren not being available for 100% of fixtures might suggest why Garry was happy to sign Isaak Welch, a versatile player who would provide flyhalf cover.

Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce that Ollie Walker has re-signed with the club ahead of the upcoming National One season. The versatile back has become a regular in the 1st XV in recent seasons, having signed from Tynedale in 2018. Asked about extending his stay at the Darlington club, Walker said: "The season is just about here and I can’t wait to run out with my mates and do some rugby!"

Walker has made 42 league appearances in his 2 seasons with DMP so far, scoring 12 tries in the process. The winger established himself as a regular starter before the 2019/20 season was cut short, missing only a handful of league fixtures and crossing the whitewash 7 times. DMP Director of Rugby Garry Law added: "Ollie's a player who probably doesn't quite get the plaudits he deserves. He does a lot of the unseen stuff both in attack and defence which is invaluable to any squad. He is predominantly a winger but is more than able at centre also."

"This versatility is a big bonus when selecting partnerships on in match day squads. Another big plus is he knows his way to the try line and something I'm sure we'll see more of this coming season."

Looking at the DMP squad for their first pre-season friendly against Blaydon it seems there are few more new faces which are yet to be announced -

Fantastic news about Warren Seals in my opinion he is still playing well below the level where he should be.

DMP Director of Rugby Garry Law has named a 28 man squad for Saturday's pre-season game against Blaydon at the Arena (2.30pm Kick Off).

A number of new signings are named within the squad alongside a host of familiar faces for DMP's first pre-season outing of the summer. Despite a number of the 1st XV squad being unavailable for the game (Ollie Hodgson, Chris McTurk, Warren Seals, Ollie Walker and Liam Checksfield), the fixture will provide the chance for the bulk of the squad to get some pre-season minutes under their belt as they continue their preparations for the 2021/22 National One season.

Camquin, many of these  were signed last year for the 20/21 season that never was, when the club had no money, chairman was asking for £40k or the club shuts and it raised half on the go fund me page, yet the D of R was still signing players up when the season was never going to start.

Be interesting when it comes out in the wash as to how this was afforded and funded!!

I presume Cambridge, like many Clubs, have moved to match fees only with no retainers. No matches, no payment.

I'm 99.9% certain that Keston Lines was never selected for Cov, so you can effectively say that Chinnor have acquired him from Leicester Tigers Wink
