Final score at Lady Bay Nottingham 22 Pirates 33.
Very scrappy second half with both teams disrupted by injuries and a lot of players playing out of position.

Red card Jersey for high tackle. Hammond for Ealing off to hospital after 20 min injury delay. Not good.

Full time: Ealing 64 - 17 Jersey
Lots of injuries - hope nothing serious in the long-term but probably implications for Ealing next week.

Indeed. Awful looking concussion for Hammond. Bobby De Wee went off on crutches, and Uzokwe failed an HIA. DeWee and Uzokwe will be hige losses if they can't go next week.

Not good for any of them. Ozokwe injury was called by the ref as legal counter ruck. There was no replay but my first instinct was a no bind, just a clear out straight to the head. I think the citing officer may come into play here. Otherwise a good win for Ealing but much to work on at the breakdown.

“This feels like a trap game to me”

Oh yes Gerg.... how worried you must have been, only won by 50 points... think you’re definition of concern is different from many others!

I can't shake the spectre of defeat in 2019 to Richmond away. Ben Ward rested most of the first team and lost. If they would have won, then there would have been a winner take all final game set up with Irish (thanks to a surprise stumble on their part). Hence trap game.
