How intriguing. With this type of build up I am expecting nothing less than Otejo, Farrell, and Daly to be in the reckoning……

Decent signing, he looked really good last season when he joined.

No injuries or medical reasons, and certainly on fine form, but fatherhood and post-rugby career aspirations seem to be the main drivers.
He'll continue coaching at Luton, and will be missed at Coventry.

Ben played some 80 Premiership games for Northampton Saints
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.

The Welsh Premiership club in Colwyn Bay.
Cambridge are due to be playing them next week in a pre season.

We had to cancel our 2nd XV game against Shelford last week for the same reason.
There is still a lot of Covid about.
Let's hope we manage to get a meaningful season.

Finally, and just one week before the first friendly of the new season, Ampthill announce the signing of two new players. Prop Zac Nearchou and lock Theo Vukasinovic agree loan deals from Premiership outfit Wasps. Theo’s signing has even made the headlines on the BBC website. They sound like wonderful signings, but with just 7 days to go before the first game at Richmond, I make that 2 new signings, and at least six exits with The announcement from Donnie that Sam Hudson has signed for them yesterday.

I know AmpthillRUFC has told me on this forum to be patient, when you support a club from a distance, I feel more information should be out there on the inter web.

There's a match next weekend isn't there Cherub? So doesn't seem like you'll have long to wait...

True, Islander, but imagine if your club, Jersey, had been as quiet at this time of the season.. I love Ampthill Rugby Club. It has a total buzz. I would just like to see more information coming through on their website in this age of communication. But heyho, I have expressed my opinion. I can do no more.

It is interesting the approach clubs take, as some seem to announce it early, whereas Blues release a player or 2 a week to keep the fans interested over the summer months and others keep it a secret!
