Caldy tweeted on Saturday morning to say it was off.
I assume the dread Covid ping meant one side was short of players.

Caldy v Chester was called off by Chester as they had assumed the game was on Friday not Saturday as the return fixture next week is at Chester on Friday. They had given their players the weekend off. No problems with Covid or player availability.

I was looking forward to this game.

I thought it was odd (but not all that surprising) that there was nothing announced by the club that the game was even organised, I only found out about it by chance when I was watching our friendly against Wirral.

Rotherham tweet stating the match the Staturday at Leeds was ON and parking is plentiful and entry is free - also advertising what sounds a decent pre-match lunch.

The £10 entry seems to be for league matches.

Sorry didn’t mean to post it twice. Score flattered us a bit, Esher probably shaded first half Blackheath probably had strength in depth although we had 5 front row on in the end and ran in a few tries at the end but a good run out and getting minutes on the pitch again as last week a few players getting their first minute got 17 months

Esher won first half 7-5 with 1st XV then changed to 2nd XV and lost second half badly.
