   It will be 21 years ago next month since I and a small army of Roth fans flew out from Stansted Airport for a weekend in Perpignan to watch the mighty Roth fell them by 20-19.
Probably the greatest sporting weekend in my life time that was. 

It was our first ever season in the Prem and the only season we played at Clifton Lane.
It’s hard to imagine how close we came to establishing ourselves at this level, but the memories of that day (and late night) and many others are what Rugby was all about.

A quick review of the game and the teams on that special evening.Hard to look at that Roth team without getting emotional against a Perpignan team feared at home at the time, including Tierry Lacroix at full back.
