Can probably get in for free if you have:
an eyepatch
Payment in silver doubloons
Three cornered hat
hook for a hand
And can say "rrrrrrrr" continually for a minute

Come on Jersey........

London Scottish vs Coventry Rugby

Richmond Athletic Ground

Saturday, November 26th, 2021.

Kick-off 3.00 pm.

15 Louis Brown; 14 Rob Stevenson; 13 Rob Knox; 12 Will Owen; 11 Louis James; 10 Evan Mitchell; 09 Joe Snow; 01 Toby Trinder, 02 Jordon Poole, 03 Phil Boulton (C), 04 Nile Dacres, 05 Jonathan Kpoku, 06 Adam Peters, 07 Aaron Hinkley, 08 Fred Betteridge.

16 Joe Richardson, 17 Olly Adkins, 18 Joe Jones, 19 Max Williams, 20 Tom Ball, 21 Josh Barton, 22 Tony Fenner, 23 Sam Aspland-Robinson.

It's good to see Louis Brown back from injury, sustained in the second pre-season.'friendly'. Also reassuring to see Joe Jones back on the bench after jis loan to Sale Sharks. Dtill a lot of injuries though, especially in the back row, and yet another pair of loanees we've not seen before providing injury cover.

Don't worry about taking off mate its the landing that's the tricky bit in a cross wind.

Ealing Trailfinders starting XV - Ealing team to play Doncaster at 1430 tomorrow. This is not the team that I would want to see put out for what I think is one of the top two or three toughest matches of the season. I would love to see Will Davis in the front row, and Matt Gordon in the centres, as well as Al-Jiboori or Digby at 6. Northcote-Green was extremely underwhelming at 6 last week, and looked gassed after 30 minutes. JCR is a stalwart coming out to the wing, and great under a high ball, but I'm not sure he has the wheels anymore to really outrun Doncaster's wings. Also, surprised not to see Burns on the bench. On the plus side (and it is a big plus) Uzokwe is fit enough to play after going off early last week. Wish I could get up to Doncaster to see the match.

1. James Gibbons

2. Shaun Malton

3. Lewis Thiede

4. Bobby De Wee

5. James Cannon

6. Max Northcote-Green

7. Simon Uzokwe

8. Rayn Smid (c)

9. Craig Hampson

10. Steven Shingler

11. Luke Daniels

12. Reuben Bird-Tulloch

13. Max Bodilly

14. James Cordy-Redden

15. David Johnston

Replacements

16. Jan-Henning Campher

17. Dylan Smith

18. Kyle Whyte

19. Simon Linsell

20. Malon Al-Jiboori

21. Stephen Kerins

22. Craig Willis

23. Cian Kelleher

They are here, as are some of their supporters!

There be pirates ere!

And most welcome they are. For once, we will not be playing in 20 degrees plus heat (well, perhaps in F not C) and the wind will be blowing hard. Should be a cracking game....can't wait!

Tackle Low!!!!!

The half time score at Ampthill is Ampthill 5-29 Hartpury. Hartpury have scored 4 tries with the wind in their backs. Hopefully Ampthill can do better with the wind in the second half.

Unfortunately I will not be able to keep you up to date in the second half as I am being dragged off to the local village Xmas market and to see the lights switched on.
Always trying to stay bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

HT on the Island, Reds awarded PT during last play & lead 7-0. Pretty near impossible to play in these conditions but on balance of play - CP not in J 22 once - perhaps a deserved lead. F8 wind blowing across pitch, usually with driving rain too... Sleepy

Blues (2 tries) 14-9 Nottingham

Blues go down the slope 2nd half and should be further ahead.
