Best wishes to the 4 Nottingham players and the rest of the squad. Fingers crossed that these are isolated and no further infections are found. Speedy recovery to those affected. |

Feel we’ve chosen a bad week to play Cov. Looks like they’ve got a lot of their injured players back and they’ll be fired up for this after last week. Their league position is a bit of a red herring atm because the team out for tomorrow is a top half team. I fear they’ll turn us over. Our centres are also considerably weaker when Litchfield is unavailable.

Did anyone else notice this absolutely scathing broadside from Nottingham aimed at the RFU? https://www.nottinghamrugby.co.uk/confidence-at-all-time-low-for-championship

starting Fifteen for Ealing vs. Ampthill: This is a 'you screwed up, all change' line up. I genuinely don't know much about several of the players such as Little and Massyn. I'm worried about how long club captain Rayn Smid will be out injured, as he's replaced this weekend. Willis and Burns are always an exciting pairing, so I'm glad to see them, and thrilled to see Will Davis back in the 23. Ealing are in an odd place, with quite a number of recruits from New Zealand and South Africa only joining in the last few weeks. I hope they make an impact, but don't disrupt team chemistry too much. 1Dylan Smith 2Jan Henning-Campher 3 Lewis Thiede 4 Bobby De Wee (VC) 5 Simon Linsell 6 Max Northcote-Green 7 Simon Uzokwe 8 Len Massyn 9 Jordan Burns 10 Craig Willis 11 Luke Daniels 12 James Little 13 Max Bodilly 14 Cian Kelleher 15 David Johnston (C) Replacements 16. Yes Gerg. Maybe a separate thread called for ? Its always a surprise that more Championship Chairmen and their senior colleagues don't air similar strong views. Perhaps they do ? Surely none can be happy with the current situation ? The RFU seem to ignore the plight of almost all rugby other than the English 6N and the Premiership.....

I hope they don’t experience the feedback when the Bedford game was streamed, and fancy blaming the visitors comms system

Ealing 21 (3T) - Ampthill 3 22'. Ealing has come alive in the last 5 to score thrice. Ampthill literally hasnt had the ball in the Ealing half yet. Score came feom 52 metre penalty kick with the wind.

Ealing 40 (6T) - 3 Ampthill. HT
One way traffic. Ealing with stiff breeze behind them in second half.

Ealing 40 (BP) - Ampthill 3 HT - Ealing has played like a different team in the 2nd 20 minutes, with clever offliads, pop passes, and chips to beffudle Ampthilll. Ampthill made it past the half way line for the first time at 39 minutes. That kind of game.
