Immense game at Volac Park.

Cambridge gave Sale the wind in the first half, which meant they were forced to defend.
Sale had four good opportunities, stopped by huge Cambridge tackles.
They finally scored on the fifth opportunity.
Cambridge almost scored before half-time, but Sale defended the maul.
In the second half, Sale took penalties when they could, but three Cambridge tries gave them the win.

A titanic struggle between two good sides, Sale could easily have won. They had some excellent backs who ran fantastic lines and kicked better, but the Cambridge forwards and tackling were the difference.
