National 1 Prediction league 2022 week 19

Short version this week: Hope everybody is well..

Caldy v Blackheath  : 5-0 Ravers, rave on! Tough game at Moseley last week, but points picked up on the road. Now back to the “shack on the hill” its time to chase down the Cityslickers at the top. Club have bigger battles to come than an away day in Cheshire.

Cambridge v Cinderford  :1-4  Its  now or never for the boys from “the forest” 

They were caught cold last week and could not pull Chinnor’s lead back. The last 5 games have not gone according to script and if they are going to push for what looks like one of the magical top two spots, they have to get a result in this, even if it's a one point win with out bonus this game is, all about the win.The Cambridge big spenders the same as they need to see a reward for the investment the last 24 months!

Chinnor v Birmingham Moseley 5-0 Chinnor got away with a a pack on roller skates last week at scrum time by scoring 21 early points Cindy had a mountain to climb, but fair play, Chinnor held on. This should be more straight forward at home and although Moseley have signed a couple in recent weeks, Chinnor should have too much

Leeds Tykes v Rams  4-1:  Yes Rams 14 were good against Albion, but Leeds mighty unlucky against Park and Stortford last week. I think Leeds get out of the mess they are in and Rams despite last weeks result I really don’t think are top of the game and suffering from “ second season syndrome” I take Leeds to nick this as Rams have really not backed up wins this season

Plymouth Albion v Sale FC    1-5 Sale bounced back after two losses and bounced back in style. Plymouth will have bigger fights ahead and this will properly go to the away side. The only nagging issue I have is sometimes out of the blue Albi do turn it on at home and if Sale are not on the money and think that turning up is enough after last weeks results, they could come unstuck.

Rosslyn Park v Darlington Mowden Park    5-0 This on paper will be another 5 pointer to the Cityslickers. They fielded a few squad players and still had plenty in the tank last week against Taunton, with this and a DMP side on the road, just think they will have far too much all round.

Taunton v Bishop's Stortford    5-2. Taunton to bounce back at home but Stortford to pick up a bonus point or two. Titans be glad to see the back of Park this season, and properly next. Stortford had a solid home win v Leeds but are still in need of points to pull away from the bottom.
