Very excited about Gwyn Parks and Morgan Strong coming to Amps, shows the benefit of having Paul Turner with his contacts at the clubs.

Two players who will bring money, well my money, to the turnstile.

Not that we have turnstiles.

And with the announcement today on their website that a further six backs have been recruited rounds the squad off nicely.

Apparently Wasps have signed Cameron Dodson a 6'7 lock currently playing MLR at Austin - who will be loaned to Ampthill.

He sounds like a great signing for Wasps, and it is even better news that Ampthill will also benefit. Thanks for the update.

Another club with financial worries who continues to sign players - is that a message of we are not concerned and will be able to continue. Either way I assume a benefit for Ampthill (big lad)

Knights sign Alec Lloyd Seed

The club are thrilled to announce the signing of fly half Alec Lloyd-Seed ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Alec arrives from Exeter University Rugby in the BUCS Super Rugby where he made 18 appearances, scoring 99 points.

I belive this takes Donnys full time squad up to 30 players

James Wayland prop signs again for the knights.

We signed James a couple of years ago, but he got injured before Coming over from Australia, hopefully he makes it this time

Freddie Lockwood a serious talent . .. he can break tackles for fun . . big and quick with a great engine, I am amazed Falcons have loaned him out for the season, he has a great future ahead of him.

I doubt there's much standing in the way of Falcons recalling him at some stage if he's tearing down trees in the Champ... & that's probably the same for any loan arrangement that involves clubs at different levels. But he's had a foot injury and is still a few weeks off full fitness.

Coaching changes at Ealing. Glen Townson (Forwards and defense) departs to take up a role at Bristol and is replaced by Jonathan Thomas, former Worcester head coach, who comes in as a forwards consultant.

Can't understand Falcons loaning him out, he was playing regularly in the falcons league squad last season.

Came to say about Jake Pope. He's been playing for Cascais in the Portuguese top flight. Pretty impressive player.
