Has Kane signed for Harlequins? Or signed for Scottish with a view to move to Quins?

He is finishing a masters at Brunel. As per his agreement with Ealing within their senior academy whilst being aged 26...
the entire London Scottish coaching staff are Harlequins and they will pick the squad so de facto They are Harlequin's 2nd team

Goodbye to a once-proud club.

What a surprise - you two.....
Yawn !
Thought this was the signings and departures thread.
For the ordinary purposes of conversation, a superficial knowledge of many things goes further than an intimacy with one or two.

On a departure note - never formally announced, but definite now: 6/7 Malon Al-Jiboori has left Ealing for the Houston Sabrecats of MLR. He actually walked away from the team in February/March, but this was confirmed on the USA rugby website today as he was named in the USA team for their RWC qualifiers against Chile this summer.

A bit of an indictment against the US national team when a guy who was struggling to start in the Championship is being picked for the national team.

Or he is a quality player who didn't fit in at Ealing.

Another Richmond outside back moving to Caldy.

Moving away due to the property prices in the capital.

He's done a fair few years full/time in league also.

Which tends to be the majority of players.
Most don't last more then a season or two.

Why do you constantly announce these Richmond departures without saying who they are? It’s really weird

Perhaps because of the courtesy of waiting for the signing club to announce first? Or maybe the club mentions someone else is leaving to go to Caldy but doesn’t mention the name…,,

If it's a courtesy, then don't mention it at all.

As it is it comes across as "I know more than you" dick waving and is massively irritating.

Five more Jersey signings today:

100% correct.

And by the way 79 Richmond players have left to play in the Scottish Super Six.

I'd rather not mention the name until the relevant club's media department has announced it.
Sometimes this can be way down in september... and for some fans to know they have gained//lost some players even if they don't know the name is better then knowing nothing at all.

Not sure why some are offended by it....

Just trying to add to the forum.

At the end of the day it's a supporter's forum.... where supporters can say their piece.
