Big ol' (young) lump too. Rae seems to know a bit about the boiler room, so he could be a useful addition.

And that news is that Joe Worsley is joining the club as Specialist Performance Advisor. He's only 45 years old so can we get him to put his boots on again?

at Richmond we do not get notified until the 1st week of August  of any new players
all I know is we have lost some 20 players 4 long standing back room staff and Harlequins 2nds are still playing at our groundLOL

The only new arrivals are 2 new bars to replace the old ones

Recent Cov leaver (and Cov Kid) Will Owen is reported as having married long-term girlfriend, actress Eleanor Tomlinson, who apparently was one of the main protagonists in a recent TV series. Poldark I think it was called. He's also said to be joining Clifton.

Cov have confirmed their squad for next season https://www.coventryrugby.co.uk/full-squad-list-for-2022-23/
It includes two loaners and seven Senior Academy (who will be used if last season is anything to go by).
A young and quite compact squad tbh, but in AR we trust...
I guess mid-table will be the target.

37 all in with 7 senior academy

Knights - 29 all in allegedly but I suspect there are a few trial players being tested out. Our DoR suggested 33 ish similar to last season so I await with baited breath
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

Jersey usually need 34 to ensure they can field a full match-day squad given the difficulty in borrowing a player into the Island but its a lot easier for Midlands sides like Cov & Donny to borrow a few when needed. Ealing seem like to have about 50 and in the prem Bris probably 70.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

What do you bait it with? And what are you trying to catch with it?
I guess 37 sounds a fair size, but many of them are young and untested at this level, and therefore probably a lot cheaper than those of several other squads, thus enabling the addition of a few.

As a southerner marooned in the north, my Knights pals would choke on their cask ale at the very thought of being categorised as a Midlands club.....

No offence intended mate but on the East side  I always consider the "North" to start at the Humber so South Yorkshire will always be East Midlands in my book. South Yorkshire is a cracking place with wonderful beer but totally different to North Yorkshire which to me is nearly as good as Durham.

A decent acquisition by the Archers - some interesting signings being made in the Championship for this coming season.

Ethan Harbinson, Ryan Nixon, Pontus Assarson & Jack Blackmore  leave for Barnes
My understanding is a lot more Mond players have trained down at Barnes as well
Not many teams can say this we have now lost are only Michelin starred chef

If I am being told this correctly, Pirates will have 7 DR’s from Chiefs this season. Is this true? Or have I missed something?
