I believe this was a game too far for many of the players in the Last Half of the Season they went unbeaten for 17 games and in April they had to play 3 sides in the top 5 , including Rams, Rosslyn Park away and Sale at home winning all three, The County season , in the North proved to be against two very poor sides Cheshire won by 101 and 60 points not really a good build up to the final. In future There needs to be a rethink in the North and the three best sides ,Cheshire, Yorkshire and Lancashire need play each other as with Cornwall they are the only 4 Counties that take the Championship seriously. Next season , of course, No Caldy Players will be eligible, so the county will need to rely on players from lower leagues .

I think 24 of the 28 eligible counties started the CC this year. Everyone seems to think that there are only a handful of interested counties. I do believe Caldy have upgraded the facilities for Media ,journalists and photographers. The new wall socket ,placed next to the disabled toilet will have 2 USB ports along with 2 3 pin sockets. No expense spared

In our only visit (so far) back in 2018, the new rugby correspondent for The Rotherham Advertiser decided to come along for the day. I’ve tweeted from desks made from wheelie bins in lots of places, took my own picnic chair to Ampthill, and always enjoyed the free pasty for the press down at Pirates.

Could someone from Caldy help? Should the first syllable of your name be pronounced to rhyme with 'haul' or with 'hal'?
