Most results going to form at the moment apart from Lichfield turning over Bromsgrove away yesterday.
Can anyone reel DK in? Not looking likely as they seem unstoppable at the moment. Syston, Kenilworth and Bridgnorth all face them on consecutive weeks so that will no doubt decide things. The revised fixtures see the season stretch into April after initially supposed to end on 11th March. Am guessing the Pizza Cup is being shelved or now not possible for some teams. Also...are we all looking forward to playing Worcester/Sixways/ Stourbridge at Wasps' borrowed ground next season? Utter madness!!

Yeh, Nuns not in a good place at the moment. As in life there always needs to be balance. We seem to have got it wrong. The First XV is our flagship and it seems to have been neglected.

I think the slight hope Nuns had has gone. Saw on facebook the club were having a meeting and reading the comments looks like there are a few people not happy with the current setup.
Hopefully next season they will bounce back!

Has anyone ever scored more than 40 points and lost?

Kenilworth seemed to have a shaky start to the season but were a classy side on their visit to Derby. I think they will make the top 4.

It's been a really exciting season so far, some of the teams that were fancied pre season are vying for the top spots despite a few poor results earlier on. Just 13 points between 2nd and 9th with nearly every team able to beat others on their day.
Dudley just leading and have a game in hand....shame their match v Bridgnorth was called off. Still all to play for and we (Kenilworth) are thoroughly enjoying our return to the league, great to play sides we've not faced for a few years.

Well done Nuns, gutted missed the game as been in bed with the flu the past week but saw the updates. Lets hope they have now turned the corner. Syston away next will be tough but hopefully might make it two on the trot.

Gutsy performance from the Nuns. Led 14-0, 17-14 at half time and saw it out well in second half winning 34-21. Unbeaten this year! Well done to all concerned. COYN.

Well here we go again. Happy New Year to all Regional 1 followers.
Nuns away at Lichfield - a battle of the basement strongmen. The winners have some hope - the losers, no hope.

Yes Nuns are falling away and as well as DK away being tough, I would say Kenilworth are a much better side now than earlier in the season.
First ever win for Derby (1sts) at Nuneaton I believe. |

Yeah I think that is it now though still hold a little hope but I think that is Nuns down.
Not sure what is going on and your right this is one of the worse Nuns sides I have seen |

Another defeat for the Nuns. Is this the worst Nuns team in living memory?

[QUOTE=Richmids]I was maybe being Mr Positive after we beat Bridgnorth who were second but after 8-6 at halftime Bromsgrove just ran away and silly errors again
Run to Christmas there is home to Derby and Kenilworth and away to Dudley. Not expecting anything at DK but Nuns need to win the two home games or fear that could be it. [I agree, we must win home games to stand any chance, but can't see it happening.

Thanks for clarifying Cobbler - I just saw 3 feeder leagues in the Midlands so assumed it would be 3 up, 3 down. Actually 3 down out of a 12 team league would be extremely harsh!

Actually 2 teams are relegated from each level 5 league (6 of them) 1 promoted from each league below (12 of them). As there are 3 Midlands level 6 leagues but only one Midlands level 5 league (whereas 3 North level 6 with 2 North level 5) you have to read from that there will be a Midlands team (not necessarily one of the promoted ones) going into one of the Northern leagues. |
