I was thinking more along the lines that maybe HB was possibly offered by the board some sort of a position and SB was not happy with it …..

I heard Knights were expecting to push Ealing all the way, although I am not sure who was thinking that with so many new players!

Joe Ford is already Head Coach as Steve was DOR. Whilst I can see Kendo becoming involved I’d be surprised if we appoint a DOR at this point.

Think that is sensible, however looking to next year a new DOR earlier would give them a chance to look at the squad, bring in their player choices going forward.

It is more a mentoring role to support Fordy, so I guess more to do with guidance rather than contemporaneous knowledge of the current game…. But yes I can see what you are getting at
