Although the Reds are suffering a few end of season injuries, this is still a very strong side and I think that the game will be won/lost for either side out wide tomorrow.
Really sorry to see those who are leaving go, but we can only wish them well. All smashing lads who have played their part in an incredible season. A special shout out to TJ Harris. He has been superb over the 4 seasons that he has spent with us and hopefully he can leave with 2 winners medals hanging around his neck. You will get a few beers bought for you next season when you visit with your new club.
Where's the Cov Kid off to next, do we know yet?
Presumably not back home as we seem to be ok for hookers.

Not yet confirmed, altho' believe you may be right about where he isn't going...

He went to the same school as me, although he might have been there slightly later.... like about 40 years later maybe, and some years after Danny Grewc ock left too. Wink

Ealing team news

Pretty strong team, I might have went Digby 8 and Uzokwe 7, or started Shingler, but I am fine with this. I think a few leavers are in the squad who otherwise might not be.

By not showing the Championship Cup Final live on TV, I think that the RFU, Championship Rugby and, perhaps Ealing, are showing this tournament the contempt that most of us think it deserves!

Both squads are missing a few key players mate but I'm sure the lads selected will give their best. From the games I've seen Ealing have had the outstanding squad this season but been just below par in a couple of key matches whereas Jersey have probably massively exceeded expectations and carried their luck when necessary. At home Ealing should win tomorrow but if BA do their stuff tomorrow morning I hope to see both teams leave nothing behind and the best team on the day prevail. Either team would be a breath of fresh air in the premiership but if they cant see it I'm just as happy to look forward to seeing old friends in the Championship. Howay Jersey give it your best lads.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Good luck to both teams.  Make the game a great advert for Championship rugby.  My heart says a Jersey win by 6 points but it's a tough ask on plastic.  Both teams enjoy your very well deserved break after a tough, competitive season.

I see the poll is currently all square - does this mean we are heading for extra time? And a kicking comp?!

Ealing scrum destroyed so far. That is keeping Jersey in the game.

Ealing 7 - Jesey 5 - After winning a penalty, Jersey 12 weaves through Ealing defense to score from the 10m line. Ealing has to strengthen in the scrum or this will get ugly. Jersey misses easy kick.

Ealing 7 - Jesey 5 - HT. Ealing didnt convert half a dozen opportunities from 5ms. May haunt them.

Half time with no further score. Forty minutes of blood and thunder - nothing in it.

Ealing 35 - Jesey 31 - FT Jersey score a couple of tries with the game decided to pretty up the scoreboard. Ealing backs made the difference.

Congratulations Ealing. Worthy winners today. The scoreline flattered Jersey a bit, who looked dangerous with the ball, but just didn’t see enough of it. That is down to Ealing’s dominance.
Well played lads
