Think this is as open as last year, if not more so!
I see Rams and Sale having a battle at the top. But unlike last season where the league was 3 teams, I think Chinnor and Park who have been very busy with pen on paper will be in the mix. You must also add to that Richmond as well. Nobody has ever gone up with more than 5 losses, I think this year you could lose 7 and be in the mix as I see the top 5 beating each other. If I'm correct that will mean there will be a very clear line between top and bottom half. Not sure what the prize is, come the end of the season, the mighty RFU will announce that with about a week to go as per norm. Bottom 3. Ill set my stall out and say I can see both the Dennis the Menace teams going (Moseley and Blackheath) as well as DMP ..but as at the top, the bottom will be close.. 60 points is what you will require. Cinderford loss of 8 is huge. Bishops tough at home Chinnor 5 v 2 Darlington Mowden Park No idea but Chinnor are at home and their pre-season form real good Leicester Lions 2 v 4 Sale Lions have had some great preseason results but may just come unstuck Rams 5 v 0 Birmingham Moseley Rams have to win the whole shooting match dont they? Pro approach to preseason, swimming and everything I understand. Honey kicks for fun, real pace in that back row. I just wonder if the front 5 is really good enough? Rosslyn Park 4 v 2 Plymouth Park at home and on astro, Plymouth struck with pre-season injuries and lots of new bodies will be dogged, but wins likely to come from home. Plymouth might struggle this year bizarely Sedgley Park 4 v 2 Richmond What have Richmond still got in the tank, a couple of top, top signings but you sense that rebound season may be a couple of years away. Sedgley will be a hard nut to crack at home Taunton 5 v 1 Blackheath Good set of forwards especially at home for Taunton but what firepower have they got outside? Blackheath may take a while to acclimatise and may have to sign a few more to get them over a bumpy early start But what do I know?
