Coventry v Saracens

No, 28-14 at home isn't a surprise.
 5-0 - that'll do nicely.

Blues getting to the try line but not over it! Hopefully 2nd half will be different.

Caldy gave a good account of themselves at Welford Road, far more interesting game than against another mixed Premiership side as there was real pressure around the 20-30 minute mark when Caldy had slowed the tempo & dragged us into a tight game.  Sam Dickinson's physicality stood out, you can see why he had such a good career at the top of the game. Brought lots of fans too.

Outside of an insane crossfield kick after the kickoff, has been all Ealing. Probably 2200 or so in the stands.

Ealing will get even better but they produced a shed load of quality, confidence and ambition in that performance. Well done lads.

Now if only Auntie Beeb would cover Championship Games as well.
After all isn’t wiping out local Radio Services to allow for more digital content (whatever that actually means).
Looking forward to new beginnings.

Virtually no BBC radio Jersey coverage of Jersey's game at the RAG - they used to broadcast commentary. If there was twitter or X coverage I didn't find it but probably down to me. Watched the Ealing game which was quality.

I just want to add that the Northampton fans that I interacted with were all very classy. From good chat on the stands, to giving a rousing cheer for the minis playing at half time, it eas a pleasure to have them at the ground. Also, coverage was good on tnt now that I am watching  it back.

BBC Jersey have always provided good coverage of the Reds since we got to Champ. The ‘every game live’ boast isn’t one they make any more & coverage tends to reduce outside the standard Saturday window, & there are other Channel Isl sports teams playing at good standards, but still think it’s pretty good given what other clubs (don’t) get & general BBC cutbacks.

Baffled by your Twitter experience CC - there was full coverage throughout the game by a regular volunteer for this role who is related to one of the players, in the usual/normal place. This isn’t meant as a rebuke but obviously I’m going to correct wrong info.
