That meeting would take several hours if all contentious laws were discussed!

England wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso ruled out of finale against France

Quote
England wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso has been ruled out of the Six Nations finale against France on Saturday because of concussion.

Feyi-Waboso, 21, played a starring role in the 23-22 win over Ireland last weekend, but he reported concussion symptoms on Monday.

Attack coach Richard Wigglesworth confirmed Feyi-Waboso will be unavailable for the trip to Lyon.

"We don't take any risks with that sort of stuff," Wigglesworth said.

"There was no major incident. He had a knock and didn't feel quite right, so he reported the symptoms and then was removed accordingly.

"He's obviously gutted, but being the smart lad he is, he reported his symptoms. He did the right thing."

The Exeter Chiefs youngster was a probable starter in Lyon after playing a vital role in Marcus Smith's match-winning drop-goal against Ireland with a powerful carry down the wing in the closing stages.

Elliot Daly, who started England's opening three games ahead of Feyi-Waboso, is likely to regain his place in the line-up.

Really hope they don't start with Daly, Cadan Murley, Ollie Hassell Collins, Tom Roebuck and Adam Radwan to name a few who should start ahead of him.

Steward is the one to bring in.

Put him opposite France's little winger in the scrum cap.

They were widely described as the poorest England team ever and then they overwhelm Ireland who were equally described as the best team in the World  ( not my opinion )
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.

Fine margins. 10 of the 15 matches ended within 4 points. Wales lost 3 matches by 3 points or less
What if he had kicked that penalty or the referee had penalised the scrum differently.
All in all some cracking matches

I have been lucky enough to attend both of England's last 2 games (just on train from Rennes to St Malo now) and it's been amazing to see - joyous rugby, outscoring both Ireland & France (RWC favourites 6 months ago) in tries, and also Ireland where it counted = the scoreboard. And we have moved on so far in style from the conservative - but effective - RWC style which got us through a (fairly easy) group with plenty to spare and almost past the eventual champions before 'winning' a bronze medal.

The squad seemed to take great offence at people having described what they saw - "poorest ever" may have been harsh, but we won 2/5 games in 6N three tournaments running. And then got turned over at 'HQ' by Fiji. The critical comments were deserved IMHO, but also served to motivate the squad, who embellished them to light fires in bellies (eg "no-one gave us a chance of getting out of our RWC group" is a claim I'm pretty sure no-one actually made). Amazing turn-around - I just hope we can keep it on track and don't get badly cuffed in NZ in a couple of month, at end of very long season (he said, getting an excuse in early! Wink)

Agreed, I hope they go out every time and play with that fearless 'take it to them' factor, home or away and whoever the opposition. They are starting to back themselves, which they absolutely should, and it gets the fans behind them. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'd rather see England go for it and lose, than play negatively and try to 'hold on' through their matches.

Last time Care and Tuilagi might play for England, many caps between them, and but for a lot of injuries, Tuilagi would be a centurion also. Lawrence looked very good in attack last night, combining nicely with Slade. Maybe a solid centre partnership has finally been found!

Whatever people's views of the RFU and management of the game (covered extensively in other forum threads) the last 2 weeks' showing have excited me again about England rugby, well done to them.

Read a stat this week that if Tuilagi had been fit/available/selected for every game since his debut, he would have 158 by now - 98 more than the actual number…

Yes you have to feel for players like him, being plagued by injury for years. I'm confident that he would have been a mainstay at 12 fo England over most of his career. Lawrence has elements of Tuilagi to him also, definitely some talented players in the squad, not to mention a whole U20 6N winning team of players waiting in the wings.

You would also hope that long term replacements for Cole and Marler are going to come through ahead of the 2027 RWC.
