National League One; Week 19 Live Match Updates

I think it was 38-34 at Chinnor. The referee appeared to tell Sedge there wasn't time for a restart if they took the conversion so they declined to take it ?

Anyway, another cracking advert for National League One, my report should be written later tonight !

As promised here is the match report for today's game at Chinnor.

Chinnor had an 11 point advantage at half-time, having played with the stiff breeze. Sedge had defended well, and scored from their two visits to the Chinnor 22, and could have been a lot closer but for kicking away possession too often into the wind.

Chinnor looked in control when they scored again in the 53rd minute, but two tries in quick succession for Sedgley from 5 metre line-outs made a game of it. 

Sedgley scored in the 80th minute to get within 4 points, but with the referee indicating there wouldn't be any time left for a restart if they attempted the conversion, they hurried back for the restart, gained possession and probed for a breakthrough.

Unfortunately for the Tigers, they took a poor option, kicked the ball away again, and Chinnor gratefully kicked into touch to end the match

Again though, this was a fantastic match as National One continues to deliver tremendous rugby !
