Carson W stepped in capably for regular BBC Jersey commentator for away games, Ian Randall, when he was ill and missed the game at Nottingham last month.

A first for the league with the soft-launch yesterday of a new highlights package, based on the featured/streamed game but including clips from all games and reaction etc. We've been crying out for this and pleased these calls have been heeded.

That’s more like it. What a great advert for Championship rugby that was. Some cracking tries all round, but what were those Donny & Notyingham lads on? Some corkers there. The Bedford 15 wasn’t too shabby either.
