Always the way sadly. The pro teams always get in there first snapping up all the players.

Cov's confirmed squad so far numbers 27 (with several of those 'emerging/down the pecking order' youngsters - the whole squad's average age is pretty low come to think of it esp with this year's first-choice SH retiring), but no doubt there are several more to come.

Donny's squad size currently at 23, not including the 5 development players from the academy.

That's a given Kimbo, we are expecting a squad size of around 33, based on statements given earlier by the club

Great signing for Nottingham. Would’ve loved him at Bedford. Given Alex Day is our captain it’s unlikely we’ll sign another 9 of that calibre. I think Venner would be perfect for Bedford. As good a player as Day is, he’s a game manager and I think we could do with some more pace at 9.

Bedford not yet announced any retained players or new signings so our squad is currently 0. We announced 6 leavers and I’m not sure if this implies that everyone not on this list is retained.

It would be good to see AJ Cant come home to Cornwall, especially given Kyle Moyle’s retirement.

We needed a heck of a signing at SH to replace Michael Stronge and to be fair I’m impressed.

Unfortunately AJ had some injury woes so we didn’t get to see much of him, but when we did we could see his class.
