Chinnor putting another 80 points on their opposition. I'm not sure I've ever seen such consistently dominant scorelines at this level before.
I'd say they're nailed on for promotion and if they can keep that squad together and add some more experience over the summer, they'll be more than a match for the likes of Cambridge, Caldy and London Scottish in the Champ next year. Well done to them. Sadly, I think Taunton and Cinderford will be back in Nat 2 West, Leicester Lions picking up a huge 5 points today against Taunton.

DMP, 2 yellows, could have won this one but Rosslyn, a decent team, played well .....but the hapless Ref. the worst refereeing display this season!!! Utterly clueless. His 2 assistants were a total waste of time and money. Two good teams but a game spoilt by the officials....Officials were just not good enough!!

Chinnor won 80-10 for the
second home game in a row, which presumably is some kind of record.
Bishop's Stortford are normally tough opponents for Chinnor, out of 8 previous games at Kingsey Road it was 4 wins each, with all of Chinnor's winning margins being 4 points or fewer, so this was an astounding score. I have to say though that Chinnor were very impressive today, slicing through the Stortford defences almost at will, and displaying great handling skills Attached is the detailed report for anyone interested |
