Too echo the above comments from neverbintochinnor, Plymouth were deserved winners today in an arm wrestle with Chinnor, strangling the life out of the game in the middle section of the second period, scoring a penalty try, winding down the clock and reducing Chinnor to 13. It wasn't pretty at times, but very effective. On the other hand, Plymouth had looked very creative in the backs in the first half. For Chinnor to have only lost by 5 points perhaps says a lot about their resiliance, claiming a losing point when 2 players down. Anyway, Albion now top the table and are there to be shot at, and as everyone says, what a wonderfully competitive division this is, as three of the top four lost today ! I hope the Plymouth fan I was chatting to today and checking the latest scores on here doesn't disagree too much with my report, which is attached below for anyone interested........... |
