Before I start wishing a speedy recovery to the Sevenoaks player who was taken off to hospital with a serious neck injury good work from both medical teams working together. Which I think was the result of a clash between 2 7oaks players behind a ruck

Remember this is a totally biased one sided view.

Well my first visit to 7oaks in around 20 years and nice to see updated changing rooms and bars, plus I have to say for those that said after last week that the pitch would be bad I have to disagree. There is still evidence of the summer work that caused the postponement earlier in the season but it was dry and flat until you got to the dead ball area at the school end which has a pretty shocking upward slope but that apart it was a decent track if a bit narrow. Club stormed out of the blocks and for 15 minutes Oaks looked like they were staring down the barrel of the gun but without reward for the dominance some indiscipline crept in and indecision which allowed Oaks to grab a foothold in the game and in fact lead at half time. But whatever was in the half time tea along I assume with a few pointed words from the coaches Club came out in the second half and scored 45 unanswered points (7 tries 5 conversions) with Jake Lloyd running in 3 and Foster 2. A pretty pleasing afternoon in the end but they do put me through the ringer at times. That’s us all caught up now

Rabbie

Call that a bacon butty!!! I would love to think that way, as we have really fond, no very good memories of games against Club.

As you know Blackheath has a very special connection with Sedge. The big leap back in the day.

Our Lancashire cousins are looking very good this season. As they did last season. So are Hull Ionians.

A tough one to call

Enjoy your season Rabbie

All the best

If Sedge & Club both miss out, they could meet in the play o...... Oh, hang on, Censored

If only Webb-Ellis hadn't given them the ball back!

Three down from 14 is scary enough.
And apparently players wanted fewer games.

But this season might be odd, as we have no idea what is happening in the top two divisions.

As Bedford have the longest stay in the second tier, as I understand.
With 1 up, 3 down, any club that stays a long term in National One should see it as a good thing to avoid the drop.
The older I get, the more the RFU leave me confused.

There was a message on Twitter last night that the player involved in the injury was okay and cleared so good news there

That is the second-best news any true rugby fan wants to hear.
The best is when all 40 players walk off without injury.

Compared to that, the result is secondary.

Really Camquin.  So you wouldn't swap a dead leg for a victory?
It's funny how many people get mad when a sentence doesn't end as they carrot juice.

Victory does indeed make the beer taste better.
But not at the cost of broken bones.

A dead leg can be caused by a haematoma, otherwise known as internal bleeding, which, if untreated can be very serious.
